I am committed to delivering for the community I have lived in my entire life.

I grew up here, attending Tuart Hill Primary School and Servite College, and playing sport at our local clubs and parks. I still live in Tuart Hill with my fiancé Lenda and our cats.

In 2005 I was elected as a City of Stirling Councillor and held that role for 12 years, including two years as Deputy Mayor, before being elected to State Parliament as the Member for Balcatta in March 2017.

On Council, I fought for improved community facilities, upgraded parks and roads and new footpaths, all while keeping the City of Stirling debt-free.  As the Member for Balcatta, I continue to work hard to deliver real outcomes for local families.

I’m proud to be part of a Labor Government committed to investing in education. We have redeveloped Balcatta Senior High School and Westminster Primary School and continue to deliver upgrades to our local schools.

I have also worked hard to deliver important projects such as the Stephenson Avenue extension, the expansion of Osborne Park Hospital, the Green Street and Scarborough Beach Road roundabout, and the transformation of public open spaces such as Robinson Reserve in Tuart Hill and Rickman Delawney Reserve in Balcatta. 

I am focused on ensuring our community continues to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.

As a Minister in the Cook Labor Government, I am also working to deliver on our priorities to build more hospitals, more homes and more opportunities for West Aussies - across the State and here in Balcatta.
